This is an overlay of the GPS logs from the trip. The roads between Kiln, Pearlington and Bay St. Louis were traveled at least a dozen times.

FREE WOOD!

Our first job was to turn what was left of the ballfield into a campground for a rotation of 100 volunteers.
 
Kiln was the closest town to the coast that had water and electricity. But the water was scary to even look at.

The rest of the volunteers in our group were sent either to Jackson or Tylertown MS. We were sent to Kiln, home of Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers as well as at least a couple hundred other people.

It was a very scenic drive

I've been home for a week and a half. It's still soaking in. Going there was easy. Being there was a life altering experience. I never realized how truley useless most of what we own is. I never imagined how equal people become when they all have the same things......Nothing.
